- Check the Mouse settings
- Restart the device
- Check the power settings
- Update the device drivers
- Test an external mouse
Go to Settings – > Devices and select Mouse & Touchpad. Go through the settings and make sure that Enable is checked under the Touchpad section.
Sometimes a simple restart of the laptop/computer can fix minor cursor problems.
Go to Power & Sleep settings and check the length of time the device has set for when to turn off the display.
Go to Device Manager and ensure that all drivers are up-to-date.
Connect an external mouse and see if the cursor works properly.
