Why do I keep getting pop-up ads on my computer?

Determine the Ad Sources
Disable pop ups in your web browser settings
- Chrome: Settings > Advanced > Privacy > Site settings > Pop-ups and redirects
- Safari: Preferences > Websites > Pop-up windows
- Internet Explorer: Tools > Pop-up blocker > Turn on pop-up blocker
- Firefox: Options > Content > Block pop-up windows
Install an ad blocker
Check and reset your browser homepage URL
Check your security software settings and ensure your anti-malware is up to date
Check your installed programs for any suspicious toolbars or software
