Why are my students unable to access the class notebook on Microsoft Classroom?

  1. Check that the notebook permissions are set properly by the professor (Only the people involved in the class should be able to view, create or edit the notebook).

  2. Check the student’s internet connection & the network speed.

  3. Check the settings on the student’s device.

  4. Ensure the student has the proper access rights to the notebook.

  5. Check the mailbox to see if there any messages from Microsoft classroom staff.

  6. Check the Office 365 service status.

  7. Test if the student can access the notebook from a different computer or device.
