- Check your email settings
Depending on your email provider and the app you’re using, there may be a setting to make sure emails are always marked as read when you open them. - Sync your emails
With some providers, you may need to manually sync emails on your device so they’re marked as read. - Clear the email app’s data
In some cases, individual app data can get corrupted or compromised. Try clearing the data and starting the app over. - Delete and reinstall the app
If none of the above options work, delete the app and reinstall it. You’ll want to make sure you have the latest version available.
