Why are my emails being sent to the wrong email address?

  1. Check the spelling of the email address

    Every character matters when it comes to email addresses, so double check that you have not typed in any incorrect characters.

  2. Check that you are using the correct '@' symbol

    If you are copy-pasting an email address, make sure that the '@' symbol has not been inadvertently replaced by a similar-looking character, such as a full-stop or comma.

  3. Ask the recipient to check the spelling of their email address

    Sometimes, the misspelling can be on the recipient's side. If all else fails, get in touch with the intended recipient to double check the accuracy of their email address.

  4. Verify if the email address contains an alias, alias extension or subdomain

    Sometimes email addresses may feature specific aliases, extensions or subdomains. Make sure that you include these when sending an email, if they are present.
