- Check if AutoFilter is Turned On
Check if AutoFilter is turned on by clicking the Filter dropdown arrows on every column. If it is turned off, your conditional formatting will not apply to your filtered data in Excel. - Check How Range is Defined
Check how the range is defined when conditional formatting rules were applied. If the range was defined dynamically when adding the rule, and if that range is not updated when you filter the data, the formatting won’t work properly. - Check the Formatting Rule
Make sure the formatting rule makes sense and that conditions are properly used.
