Why am I unable to save changes made to files on the shared drive?


  1. Check that the file is titled correctly with the correct file extension
  2. Check if you have the appropriate permissions to read or write to the shared drive.
  3. If you do not have permissions to read or write to the shared drive, contact the computer system administrator
  4. Check that if the file is opened that you have Saved or Saved As the changes
  5. Check that you are not editing the file from a cached version that did not sync with the server
  6. If none of the above solutions work, contact the Help Desk for assistance
