Why am I unable to connect to Wi-Fi?

< 1 min read

  1. Check the Wi-Fi connection

Ensure your computer/device’s Wi-Fi is turned on and connected to the same SSID (or Wi-Fi network) as your router. Try selecting a different network and reconnecting to your original network. Make sure the cable modem, router, and Wi-Fi devices have the proper power connections.

  2. Check Wi-Fi driver

Ensure your network adapter is updated with the latest driver. Outdated drivers can cause connection issues.

  3. Check Network Settings

Check your network settings and make sure you are not using any proxy settings or other settings that may be preventing you from connecting.

  4. Check Firewall Settings

Check any third-party antivirus software or firewall settings that may be blocking access to your Wi-Fi network.
