Why am I unable to connect to the internet on my computer after a virus scan?

1. Check the router and cables to make sure they are securely connected.
2. Reset the modem and router by unplugging them from the power source for 30 seconds and then replugging back in.
3. Clear the browser's cache and cookies.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Check the settings on your browser for any proxy settings that may be blocking the connection.
6. Run a virus scan on the computer and if anything is detected, contact a technician to help.
