Why am I getting a lot of email delivery failure notifications?
- Check the email address spelling: First, double-check the spelling of the email address you are sending to. Email delivery failure notices often occur when the email address is typed incorrectly.
- Verify the contact exists: Email delivery failure notices can also occur if the recipient account or contact does not longer exist, or if the contact is no longer accepting emails.
- Check the blocked senders list: If the contact exists, then double-check the blocked senders list to ensure the email address is not blocked or blacklisted.
- Verify SPF and DKIM settings: To ensure emails are being delivered properly, ensure your SPF and DKIM settings are configured correctly.
- Check email bounces: Email delivery failure notices can also result from email bounces (i.e., if the contact’s mailbox is full). Be sure to check your email bounce logs to identify any issues.
