- Check power and connection cables, powercycle the printer and your computer.
- Ensure the printer is set up correctly and Print & Scan Doctor or HP Scan & Capture driver is installed.
- Check the settings of firewall or ad blocker, if the printer is connected via Wi-Fi.
- Make sure that the printer is capable of scanning to emails.
- Try to perform a scan directly from the printer.
- Reduce the size of the document to be scanned and review the file format requirements for scanning.
- Check network settings through the printer’s control panel.
