My shared drive is not showing up on other devices connected to the same network, what should I do?

It is possible that your shared drive is stopped or not running. To troubleshoot, try the following:


  1. Make sure the network drive is enabled and running on the computer.
  2. Check to make sure the folder is visible and the sharing settings are configured correctly.
  3. Verify the other device is connected to the same network and is using the same shared name.
  4. Ensure that the credentials of the device accessing the shared drive are valid.
  5. If applicable, perform a firmware update on the network devices.
