How to troubleshoot a Smart TV that is displaying a green or purple screen?

First, check all connections to make sure the cables are securely attached.

  1. Verify the cable is firmly plugged into the port.
  2. Check that the device is set to the correct input channel.
  3. Switch outlets and power cables if possible.
  4. Restart the TV and connected device.
