To set up and use a universal remote on your Smart TV, you should:

1. Identify the make and model of your TV.
2. Choose the corresponding compatible remote, which should be the same brand as the TV.
3. Insert the remote’s batteries.
4. On the Remote, press and hold the setup button until the TV and Cable button blink twice.
5. Swith input source on the TV to the corresponding code (e.g. TV, AV, etc.).
6. At the same time, press the corresponding button on the remote until the TV and Cable button blink twice. The remote is now synced with the TV.
7. Test the remote to make sure it fully functions with the TV.
