1. Configure permissions correctly on objects or containers
2. Ensure that the appropriate permissions are granted to the objects or containers from other objects
3. Verify that groups or users with delete privileges are not inadvertently deleting objects
4. Review and validate that existing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) are applied to the objects or containers
5. Check to see if appropriate replication mechanism is in place between specific domain controllers for the objects or containers
6. Verify that the multiple domain controllers have the required version of service packs or hotfixes
7. Analyze audit logs to help identify what permissions are being set or deleted
