How do I troubleshoot a blank screen on my laptop?
- Check the power supply: Make sure the power cable is completely inserted into the laptop and the wall outlet.
- Check the LCD display of the laptop: Press the laptop’s power button and check if the LED light on the switch is on.
- Reset the Internal Power Module (IPM): To do this, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then release.
- Restart the laptop: Press the power button again and check if the laptop boots.
- Try to Boot to Safe Mode: Press the F8 key when you see the Dell logo on the screen. You may need to press the key numerous times.
