Follow the steps below to set up a recurring reminder for a specific document in a subsite in SharePoint.

- Step 1: Open the subsite in question and navigate to the document in question.
- Step 2: Navigate to the ‘File’ tab in the ribbon toolbar window on the top of the screen
- Step 3: Click on the ‘Alert me’ button in the ‘Manage’ box
- Step 4: Check the box next to ‘Select all changes in this document’
- Step 5: Choose whether you would like to be alerted immediately, daily, weekly, or monthly
- Step 6: Set a delivery option for the alert
- Step 7: Click ‘OK’
