How do I scan a document on my printer?

Follow these steps to scan a document on your printer:

  1. Turn the power on the printer.
  2. Open the printer’s scanner lid.
  3. Place the document face down onto the scanning bed.
  4. Use the paper size guide to ensure the document is placed correctly.
  5. Close the scanner lid.
  6. Select the scan option from the printers touch screen.
  7. Choose the destination for the scan document on the touch screen.
  8. Confirm the settings for the scan job.
  9. Press start to begin the scan job.
  10. Once the job is complete your scanned document will be saved in the specified destination.
