Resetting your password on your PC can be done in several steps:
- Verify your user account: Check to ensure that you are logging in with the correct username.
- Reset your local account password: Find the user account and then access the account options to reset the password.
- Restore user account password in the Command Prompt: If you have a local account, you can reset your user account password in the Command Prompt by using the net user command.
- Change the Administrator Password: To change the Administrator Password, you’ll need to log in to Command Prompt as Administrator. Once you have done that, you can use the net user command to change the account password.
- Create a System Restore Point: Create a System Restore Point to prevent any future password problems.
