- Turn off printer and unplug
Turn off your printer by pressing the power button and unplug it.
- Open printer side panel
Open the side panel of the printer to view the drum inside.
- Remove the old drum
Be sure to be gentle when removing the old drum. Pull the drum out of the printer using the handle attached.
- Prepare the new drum
Unboxing the new drum and set aside all packing materials. Then remove the paper cushion and tab from the new drum.
- Install the new drum
Slot the new drum into the printer and make sure it fits snugly. Close the printer side panel.
- Reset the printer
Plug in the printer again and switch it on. Select the ‘Reset Drum Counter’ from the menu.
- Print a test page
Finally, send a test page and check if quality has improved. Otherwise, you may need to repeat the steps.
