1. Gather the right tools you’ll need for the job. This will likely include pliers, tweezers, and a can of compressed air.
2. Look carefully at the headphone plug. Try and identify the various components. Look for any tabs or grooves that will help you grip different sections of the plug.
3. Secure the headphone plug with a set of pliers. Make sure that the pliers are gripping the plug in the right area. You want to be able to move and rotate the plug while still having a secure grip.
4. Twist the plug back and forth slightly. This will help to loosen any debris or dirt that might have built up around the jack.
5. Insert the slender end of a tweezers into the broken headphone plug to apply extra force as you twist the plug.
