How do I recover deleted files from the shared drive?

  1. Find the folder
    Locate the folder in which the file should be stored and check if it’s in the correct location.

  2. Check for archived files
    Check the archived folders directly or search for archived versions of the missing file.

  3. Contact co-users
    If another user has access to the same folders, contact them to check if they can help you find the file.

  4. Check user profiles
    Check user profiles associated with the same drives to see if the file is saved on another user’s profile.

  5. Check Trash
    If the file was deleted, check Trash for the deleted version and undelete it.

  6. Search for file
    Rerun a search query for the file name in case of file corrupt or accidental renaming/moving.
