How do I insert page numbers without it showing on specific pages in my document?

1. Insert page numbers in your document:

  1. Open the header or footer section of your document by double-clicking it.
  2. Click either the Page Number icon or the Insert Page Number tool in the Header & Footer group.
  3. Select your preferred page numbering option.
  4. Specify whether you want the page numbers to start from the first page or from the current page.
  5. Adjust the position and alignment of your page numbers if desired.
2. Hide page numbers on specific pages:

  1. Navigate to the page on which you don't want the page number to appear.
  2. Double-click the header or footer section of the page.
  3. Highlight the page number that you want to hide.
  4. Press the Delete or Backspace key on your keyboard.
  5. Click Close Header and Footer.
