To fix the issue of Outlook not showing images or graphics in emails, the following should be done:
- Check Outlook’s email settings (Options > Trust Center > Automatic Download), and verify that the Show Images option is checked.
- Clear image content from the cache. (File > Options > Mail > under Mail > Deleted completely the following items from your mailbox after > Clear Image)
- Try disabling email security for images (Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Automatic Download > turn of both the Don’t download pictures automatically in HTML emails and Don’t download pictures in email messages automatically).
- Make sure Outlook is connected to the internet. If working on corporate PCs, check that the corporate proxy settings are correctly configured.
- Check the add-ins for Outlook, as the use of add-ins could block the email images.
- Is your antivirus scanner or email security software blocking the images? Check your settings there.
