To fix OneNote not saving changes to a shared notebook or section:
- Check sync status and connection

- Tap or click File > Info > View Sync Status. tt
- Check the connection status in the window. tt
- If your connection status is anything other than Connected, auto sync may be turned off. tt
- Tap or click Resume Syncing to turn it back on.
- Check account settings

- Check that your account is listed under File > Account. tt
- If it isn't, sign in the account you used to create the notebook. tt
- If you're already signed into multiple accounts, try each one.
- Check syncing in other Notebook programs

- Make sure the shared notebook is open in all programs you're using. tt
- Check that other people have permissions to view, edit, and sync the notebook. t
