- Check the USB connection to the Webcam and PC
- Ensure the Webcam is not plugged in to USB extension cables or a USB hub
- Check the device drivers are up to date and the latest version is installed
- Check that the Webcam's built-in microphone is enabled in the PC's audio settings
- If the Webcam is listed in the Device Manager, it is connected properly
- Test the Webcam with a different app or website
- Perform a system recovery and device reset
