- Check that all components are in working order. Inspect all components of the printer to ensure that all components are still in proper working condition.
- Replace the belt. Successfully replacing a printer’s belt will heavily depend on the printer model. Refer to the printer’s user manual for details.
- Recalibrate the printer. Check the user manual for the –task-specific— steps to calibrate the printer.
- Test the printer. Run a few tests to make sure everything is in order. Print several documents to ensure the printer is operating correctly.
