1. Gather your supplies: Ink cartridges, a cotton swab, and rubbing alcohol.

2. Turn the printer off and unplug it from the power source.

3. Open the printer access door and examine which ink cartridge is leaking.

4. Put on disposable gloves to protect your hands from the ink.

5. Slowly remove the leaking ink cartridge, holding it away from your skin and clothes.

6. Wash the cartridge with rubbing alcohol and cotton swab, gently twisting the swab in order to remove any residue from cracks, seams, and other crevices.

7. Allow the cartridge to completely dry before placing it back into the printer.

8. Close the printer access door and plug the printer back into the power source.

9. Turn the printer back on and perform a test page to make sure the cartridge works properly.
