To find out which group membership a user has in Active Directory:
- Step 1: Log into your Windows machine with an account that is authorized to view and manage Active Directory users
- Step 2: Download any recommended Active Directory user management software
- Step 3: Connect the software to Active Directory using the LDAP interface
- Step 4: Select the user you would like to view group memberships for in the interface
- Step 5: View the user’sgroup memberships in the interface
