To delete unwanted programs on a PC:

1. Uninstall the program: Use the uninstaller program packaged with the software or Windows uninstaller
2. Verify that the software files are no longer in the file system: Check for folders and files in the Program File directory and anywhere else the software could have been installed.
3. Remove Registry entries (optional): If relevant registry entries still exist, use a registry cleaner to remove them.
4. Delete shortcuts and other miscellaneous files (optional): Remove any leftover icons or launchers for the software.
