Follow these steps to defragment your hard drive:

1. Click the Start button, and select Control Panel.


2. Select System and Security, then click Defragment your Hard Drive.


3. Select the hard drive you want to defragment. To analyse and defragment the drive, click the Analyse and Defragment buttons respectively.


4. Follow the on-screen instructions to start the defragmentation process. Once complete, a report will be displayed.
