- Turn off the power and unplug the printer from the power source.
- Gently pull the paper tray out of the duplexer.
- Using both hands, grasp the base of the duplexer and gently lift the back end up and back. Don’t pull the paper tray.
- Disconnect the rear plastic cover from the back of the duplexer.
- Remove the jammed paper from the rear of the duplexer or from the front of the duplexer.
- Press down on the duplexer rod to re-engage the duplexer drive.
- Reattach the rear plastic cover onto the back of the duplexer.
- Place the paper tray back into the duplexer.
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer.
