How do I change the default library for importing Excel spreadsheets in SharePoint?

  1. Go to the library where you want to import the Excel spreadsheet


  2. Select the 'Library Settings' on the ribbon menu


  3. Under 'Library' settings, click 'Advanced Settings'


  4. Look for the 'Default Open Behavior for Browser-Enabled Documents' section


  5. Select 'Open in Client Application' from the dropdown menu


  6. Click 'OK'
