Follow the steps below to adjust your touchpad scroll settings:
- Identify your laptop’s touchpad. Look for a mouse icon in the system tray in the bottom right corner of your taskbar. If you don’t see the icon, either you have hardware that doesn’t require extra software to function, or it may be hidden. Click the Show hidden icons and you should find the mouse icon.
- Open your touchpad settings. Double-click the mouse icon to open the touchpad’s settings. You may need to use the scroll bar on the right to scroll down and find the appropriate menu.
- Adjust your scroll settings. You can adjust the sensitivity and other options in the settings. Change the sensitivity, scroll speed, and other settings as desired. Click the Apply or OK button to save your changes.
- Restart your laptop to apply your changes after adjusting your touchpad settings.
