Here are the steps to add a cover slide in PowerPoint:

Open your PowerPoint presentation.
Click the Insert tab.
Select Slides from Files.
Select the option to Browse for a file.
Choose your desired image file that will become the cover slide.
Options to adjust the size of the cover slide will appear. Select the desired size.
After making desired modifications and alignments, select the Insert button to add your desired cover slide.
