1. Turn off your laptop by pressing and holding down the power button for 5-10 seconds.
2. Unplug the charging cable from your laptop.
3. Remove the battery from the bottom of your laptop.
4. Connect a small amount of electrical contact cleaner to a piece of folded cotton swab.
5. Carefully insert the cotton swab into the power button opening.
6. Gently depress the power button with the cotton swab using a slight side-to-side motion.
7. Repeat steps 5 & 6 two or three times to ensure a good connection.
8. Reinsert the battery and plug in the charging cable to test the power button works.
