Follow these steps to check for corrupted system files and repair them using the command prompt:


  1. Type cmd in the search bar of the Start Menu, and choose the Run as Administrator
  2. Type sfc /scannow, and press the ENTER key.
  3. Wait for the command to complete, and type DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Press the ENTER key.
  4. Wait again for the process to complete, and restart your system.
