Why isn’t my Smart TV connecting to the internet?

Here are the things you should try to troubleshoot your Smart TV's connection to the internet:


  1. Check to make sure your internet connection is active and running
  2. Check to make sure your Wi-Fi settings are correct for your home network
  3. Restart your routers and modems to ensure their internet connections are working
  4. Check to make sure the cable or Ethernet connection to your internet is secure
  5. Check to make sure all cables and wires are connected correctly
  6. Change your DNS settings and make sure they’re correct
  7. Check to make sure your firewall is not preventing your Smart TV from connecting to the internet
