Why is the volume on my Smart TV fluctuating?

Troubleshoot the volume on your Smart TV

  1. Check the volume icon
    to make sure you haven’t accidentally muted the TV volume.
  2. Check the volume settings on the TV itself or on the remote control
    to ensure that you haven’t inadvertently turned down the volume.
  3. Check that you can hear audio if you are watching a media source
    such as a DVD or streaming service.
  4. Check the speakers on the TV and the audio settings in the menu for the TV
    to ensure that they match the content you wish to watch.
  5. Check the settings on the TV or the remote to make sure
    that any external soundbar or Bluetooth drivers connected to the TV are turned up.
