The following steps may be helpful in diagnosing why your Smart TVs volume control isn’t working:
- Check the power cord and power outlet Turn off your Smart TV, unplug the power cord and plug it back into the power outlet.
- Check the Audio Settings on your TV Check the Audio Settings in the menu for any incorrect settings or selections.
- Check the Audio Cable Unplug the audio cable or HDMI cable from the back of your Smart TV and plug it back in securely.
- Restart your Smart TV Unplug the power cord from your Smart TV and then plug it back in.
- Restart Your Network Connection If connected by wireless, restart your router or network connection.
- Check the speaker Connections Make sure that the speaker connection to the TV is firmly connected.
