Why is my Smart TV not connecting to the internet even though it is connected to Wi-Fi?

Here is a list of troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve a Smart TV internet connection issue:

  1. Reboot Wi-Fi Router: Unplug your Wi-Fi router from its power source, wait about 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
  2. Reconnect to Wi-Fi: Turn the Wi-Fi settings off and then on for your Smart TV. For help with this, check out your Smart TV’s user manual.
  3. Perform a manueal Network Setup: You can go through the process of manually setting up your Smart TV’s network connection. Check your user manual for instructions.
  4. Check the DNS Settings: Try changing your DNS settings for the network. The default may not be the best option for you.
