1. Check the outside packaging and the printer’s manual to check the levels of ink your printer uses.

2. Print a test page to see the colour level remaining in each ink cartridge.

3. Replace any cartridges that have run out of ink or are close to running out.

4. Clean the cartridge contact pins and electrical contacts on the printer.

5. Remove and reseat the cartridge to ensure there is a good connection between the cartridge and the printer.

6. Check you are using the correct type of ink cartridge.

7. Clean the print heads to help ensure the correct amount of ink being delivered to the paper.
