Why is my printer not recognizing the correct ink or toner cartridge model?

Check your printer model and your ink or toner cartridge model.
Make sure you are trying to use the correct model for your printer type.
Make sure the ink or toner cartridge is properly inserted.
Check the user manual or support website for diagrams on how to properly insert the ink or toner cartridge.
Check the contacts on the cartridge.
