Why is my printer not recognizing or calibrating to a new cartridge?

1. Check the power/USB/Ethernet cable connections to make sure the printer is properly plugged in and turned on.


2. If the printer is networked, make sure to check your network connectivty.


3. Try restarting the printer and/or the computer and/or the router.


4. Ensure the cartridge is properly installed and secure.


5. Look in the printer settings to make sure the cartridge type is correctly selected.


6. Make sure the print drivers, firmware, and software are all up-to-date.
