1. Check that the toner cartridge is installed correctly and securely
2. Check that all of the toner cartridges installed are full and toped off to the correct levels
3. Reset the printer to factory default settings
4. Perform a hardware reset if available for your model printer
5. Inspect the printer head for any debris or foreign objects that may disrupt the maintenance cycle
6. Clean the printer head by using a lint-free cloth and/or isopropyl alcohol
7. Update printer software drivers and firmware to the latest version
8. Replace toner cartridges if necessary
