Why is my printer not able to scan to my computer?

Check for basic printer setup

  1. Verify the USB cable is physically connected from printer to the device.
  2. Verify the USB port is securely connected on both ends.
  3. Make sure that both the printer and device are turned on.
  4. Confirm that the computer is able to recognize the printer and the printer is configured to scan.
  5. Check and install the latest printer driver.
  6. Check the firewall settings in the device.
  7. Restart both of the devices.
