- Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
- Find and open the access door for the toner or ink cartridges.
- Remove the used cartridge carefully and discard.
- Unpack the new cartridge and remove package and other material.
- Insert the new cartridge in the printer in the same position as the old cartridge.
- Close the access door.
- Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer.
