How do I fix a scanner error on my printer?

1. Check printer power cable is plugged into wall socket and printer
2. Check that the printer switch is in power on position
3. If printer is connected over network, check that the network cable is connected.
4. Reboot both printer and computer.
5. If 'scanner error’ message appears after rebooting computer, please uninstall the printer driver and re-install.
