To clear paper fragments from a printer:

1. Use a flashlight to look inside the printer and locate the jam.
2. Gently remove any paper fragments or other obstructions.
3. Run a piece of paper through the printer feed to check for remaining fragments.
4. Unplug the printer and turn it upside down before gently shaking it to remove additional fragments.
