- Unplug the power cord from the unit and wait at least one minute.
- Open the top cover.
- Find the drum unit inside the machine.
- Gently lift and remove the drum unit from the machine.
- Find the green leaver on the side of the unit and move it from position 1 to position 2.
- Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean any remaining toner powder on the sides and the bottom of the drum unit.
- Move the green leaver back to position 1.
- Gently reinstall the drum unit into the machine.
- Close the top cover.
- Plug the power cord into the unit.
